11-03-2014 Video and pics - The Lord Prepares a Way

Dear friends and family,
This week has been absolutely wonderful. There is a man who we have talked to a little bit who has been coming to our English class every now and then. It seemed like he didn't have any gospel interest for a while but as we have continued talking he has been asking some questions about our church.

We asked if he wanted to meet with us and he said yes. Normally it's a bit difficult to asked somebody to be baptized on the first time meeting them, but Elder Ronsenstien and I felt that it was the right thing to do. So we did and he accepted our invitation to be baptized. I still can't really believe it. A few weeks earlier he didn't have any interest and I saw the change from that to being humble and wanting to be baptized. He hasn't learned much about the church but I believe that he is going to progress and become a solid member of this church. The Lord will put people in your path in your a doing the work.
We have also been working with our investigators who want to mostly learn English. The amazing thing this week was that they came to our bishops house from Family Home Evening. They said it was a little bit weird but the lesson and the feeling that was there was really amazing. I believe these two will progress in the gospel as well.

We had our ward Halloween party this week. It was really good but we planned for about the whole ward to come and lets just say that they didn't all come. But we had a few non members come out and they seemed to have a really good time and enjoyed it a lot.

Great things are happening in Korea. Our mission President has changed the way we do things and it's going really well. We are focusing a lot on getting in to teach people. Before a lot of missionaries would just talk to people on the street. Now we are getting in to talk to people and we are seeing some really amazing things. This is the Lord's work and it is moving forward.

Love you all, thank you so much for your prayers,

Elder Meeks
