The best part is between 4:30 and 5:38. I can't believe how much this boy has changed. Love him so much,

Dear friends and family,
This week has been absolutely wonderful. There is a man who we have talked to a little bit who has been coming to our English class every now and then. It seemed like he didn't have any gospel interest for a while but as we have continued talking he has been asking some questions about our church.
We asked if he wanted to meet with us and he said yes. Normally it's a bit difficult to asked somebody to be baptized on the first time meeting them, but Elder Ronsenstien and I felt that it was the right thing to do. So we did and he accepted our invitation to be baptized. I still can't really believe it. A few weeks earlier he didn't have any interest and I saw the change from that to being humble and wanting to be baptized. He hasn't learned much about the church but I believe that he is going to progress and become a solid member of this church. The Lord will put people in your path in your a doing the work.
We have also been working with our investigators who want to mostly learn English. The amazing thing this week was that they came to our bishops house from Family Home Evening. They said it was a little bit weird but the lesson and the feeling that was there was really amazing. I believe these two will progress in the gospel as well.
We had our ward Halloween party this week. It was really good but we planned for about the whole ward to come and lets just say that they didn't all come. But we had a few non members come out and they seemed to have a really good time and enjoyed it a lot.
Great things are happening in Korea. Our mission President has changed the way we do things and it's going really well. We are focusing a lot on getting in to teach people. Before a lot of missionaries would just talk to people on the street. Now we are getting in to talk to people and we are seeing some really amazing things. This is the Lord's work and it is moving forward.
Love you all, thank you so much for your prayers,
Happy Birthday Mom!!!
Hey just wanted to say that I hope you're going to have an awesome birthday this year. Make sure you tell the kids that that day is day is the day that you get to have them as your slaves.
Thanks so much for all the stuff that you're doing for me and and whole family. I think a lot of really good things have been happening in the family this year and I think a lot of it is because of you. You've helped me on my mission so much. I think I would be totally hopeless on my mission if I didn't have you there to back me up. You've also been super awesome at telling me the good things that are going on back at home.
Love ya a bunch I can't wait to see you when I get back. You're the best mom ever!!
Love Elder Meeks
My first full week in my new area has been really amazing. We had a couple of guys come into English class that we started teaching English and Gospel to. They are both about 25 and really nice. We have met with them twice and the want to continue to meet and learn from us.
We had a couple of really cool things happen to us while we were out on the streets. A older man who was kinda drunk came up to us and told us that he really wanted to change his live around and get things together. We got his number and we are going to meet up with him later this week.
We also we just trying to find some less actives and we asked this lady if she knew where the place was and it turns out that the lady that we talked to had been baptized in our church about 10 years earlier and hadn't been to church in about 5 years. She said she was really happy to see us and said that she would try coming back out to church. Pretty amazing experience.
We had stake conference this week and it was really good. Our stake president is in our ward and he is such an amazing man. He has such a strong spirit about him and he is doing a really good job leading our stake.
Loving my new area and my new companion. Learning a ton every day and doing some really good work.
Love you all and thank you all so much for you prayers.
Elder Daniel Meeks
This week has been my transition into my new area. It's been really awesome so far. My new companions name is elder Rosenstein and he's an awesome guy. So he just finished being trained so he's been out for about 3 months. It's just kinda funny because He is older than my older brother. My new ward is a little bit bigger than my last one so getting all the members down isn't going to be easy but I've already had a good start with things. Also i'm living in the most rich area in all of Korea and the members are pretty well off. Needless to say that I will be eating really well this transfer.
We had a couple of 24 year old guys come into English class who really want to learn English and I talked to them a little bit more and they want to meet to learn more English and gospel so that will be really good.
With becoming senior companion I am really going to have to take the role in talking Korean. I'm so grateful that my new companion is such an amazing elder. He is really trying and he loves talking to people about the gospel.
Something else that is really amazing is that I'm serving in the ward where one of my little brother's good friends is living. His name is Gil Tea and he was baptized a little while ago and has been struggling to read the scriptures and pray. I had a chance to meet and talk to him yesterday. He is an amazing young man who is having challenges with growing up in an environment where he is constantly surrounded with bad things. I think it's a miracle that I'm able to come here and help find his faith and become a strong member of this church.
Thank you all so much for you prayers. I love you all.
